American Folk Art - Primitive Wool Hooked Rug Pillow - Patriotic Crow

Hooked by my hands this very primitive very primitive patriotic crow pillow measures in at 11 1/2" wide x 10 1/2" and was hooked with all hand dyed wool I dyed myself in my New England home studio.

I used antique blacks for the crow, a nice mixture of clam shell dyed wool for the background and some drab reds, blues and greens for the rest of this unique pillow.

Backed with a nice hand dyed clam shell wool and stuffed with wool fabric scraps for an old fashioned primitive and heavy feel. It's such a fun piece and perfect to leave out all year long.
