American Folk Art - Primitive Wool Hooked Rug Pillow - Flowers for Lucy

I hooked this very primitive one of a kind 14" wide x 12 1/2" tall flowers for Lucy pillow with an assortment of faded pink and mustard flowers and used a nice mix of clam shell colored wool for the background.

Light hit and miss colors were used for the scalloped border.

All of the wool was hand dyed by myself in my New England home studio and this pillow has backed with a nice faded olive colored wool and stuffed with wool fabric scraps for an old fashioned primitive and heavy feel.

Perfect for spring but a fun piece and perfect to leave out all year long.
