American Folk Art - Primitive Wool Hooked Rug Pillow - Spring Tulip

This gorgeous antique red tulip pillow was hooked with all hand dyed wool and stuffed with wool bits for a nice old fashioned primitive feel. A coordinating spring green colored wool was used from the backing.

I used creams, tans and light browns for the background and very faded wine red for the tulip and over a dozen shades of spring green for the leaves and border. A keeper for sure! 11 1/2" wide x 14" and one of a kind.
