Hand Dyed Wool Fabric, 8 River Rock Fat 1/8 Eighths for Primitive Rug Hooking

This listing is for 8 fat 1/8th {fat eighth} yards of 100% wool over dyed with my River Rock Formula. Each piece measures approximately 12.5" x 16" {depending on amount of shrinkage during the dyeing process}.
All wool bundles were created with varying wool weights which is consistent with the primitive style of rug hooking I do. I believe using an assortment of one particular color gives rugs more depth and makes the finished rug more interesting.

This collection of hand dyed solid and textured wool pieces has a nice mix of grey, olive green, sand, putty and drab grey to it and would be perfect for backgrounds, garden scenes and anywhere a nice pale, drab worn look is needed in rug hooking or applique.

I used my river rock hand dyed wool in the Double Folk Art Chicken Rug to give it a nice earthy feel. The river rock wool was used for the chickens as well as the border. The pattern is offered here:

I hand dyed this wool personally. All wool comes from a smoke-free environment and is one of a kind and cannot be duplicated exactly.
