Folk Art Primitive Wool Hooked Rug Chicken PILLOW ~ Drab Colors ~

This very primitive and one of a kind 14 1/2" x 12 1/2" chicken pillow was created with all hand dyed wool I dyed myself in my New England home studio.

A wonderful combination of antique blacks were used for the background, a nice mixture of worn grainy mustard wool for the chicken and a collection of drab colors for the scalloped edges.

This pillow has been backed with a nice hand dyed charcoal wool and stuffed with wool fabric scraps for an old fashioned primitive and heavy feel.
