This very primitive and one of a kind 8 1/2" x 7" fat brown hen hooked rug was created with all hand dyed wool I dyed myself in my New England home studio.
A wonderful combination of worn brown wool was used for the chicken and the background was hooked with a mix of creamy solid and textured wool for the background.
Perfect for a folk art collector.
