Primitive Folk Art ~ Old Glory ~ American Flag Wool Hooked Rug ~ PILLOW ~

Hooked by my hands, this Old Glory hooked rug PILLOW measures in at 12" x 14 1/2" and was hooked on linen using all hand dyed wool I dyed myself. A super drab combination of faded black and charcoal wool was used for the background, and muted strips of reds, whites, blues and browns were used for the flag and the lettering.

This pillow has been stuffed with wool scraps for a nice heavy feel and have been backed with a charcoal plaid wool.

A fun piece to display year round.
